Hello everyone! I found out that many people has questions about the LGB families, so today I am going to try to explain it. I want you to know that I am not an expert because I don't have LGB parents but I'll do my best.

- Do children of lesbian and gay parents have more problems with sexual identity than children of heterosexual parents?

The answer at this question is that sexual and gender identities develop the same way among children of lesbian or gay parents as they do among children of heterosexual parents. That's because sexual orientation has nothing to do with sexual identity. As the parents are LGB, they are more likely to teach their kids that it's okay to be transgender, so the kid may question it, but that is absolutely not a bad thing, it's actually pretty good and all the parents should do it. If the kid questions his or her sexual identity is because he or she has been given the chance to choose who they want to be, and that is fantastic!

- Do children raised by lesbian or gay parents have problems in personal development?

That is more or less like the answer before, the development of the child has nothing to do with what its parents are LGB. It has to be clear that children don't need a mother and a father, if they have for example two mothers, that is totally okay, they don't necessarily a father figure, they will not grow badly or have personal development issues.

- Are children of lesbian and gay parents more likely to be LGB than children of heterosexual parents?

Sexual orientation is a personal thing that you are born with, so your parents' orientation doesn't influence the child's. However, LGBT+ parents are more open-minded and they normalize it so that's why the child may be more confidant about telling their parents their sexual orientation.

I hope I answered some of your questions! Thank you for reading me!
